Death record in possession of Louise Brown, Cassidy is the informant;Phenor was first married to Etta Johnson on 10 Aug 1916 and later, after divorcing Clara, he married Mary Scholfield. Phenor and Etta had two sons, Lamar and Glen. In the 1920 Census he had a two-year-old son named Lamar.

Phenor married Clara Spens, daughter of Nathaniel Spens and Mary Jane Campbell, on 14 Dec 1933 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah. (Clara Spens was born on 4 May 1891 in Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah, died on 28 Jan 1981 in Worland, Washakie, Wyoming and was buried on 31 Jan 1981 in Burlington, Big Horn, Wyoming.)
