bullet  General Notes:

William Searle of Puttenham, a tailor made a will on January 14, 1795, that was
proved on January 17 1804, and lodged with the Archdeaconry Court of Surrey.
His wife Mary Searle and his son, William Searle were made executors of the
Will. he left 'all and singular my messuages lands tenements and hereditaments
as well freehold as copyhold... in the parish of Puttenham' to his wife, during
her life time, provided she did not marry again. John Wilkinson and John
Douglas were witnesses to the Will which William signed.

The burial date and birth date are taken from a graveyard inscription. the
gravestone of William reads:-

'Im memory of William Searle who died March 6 1803. Aged 60 years.'
