Jean Crawford/Tinline was the illegitimate daughter of Jean Crawford and George
Tinline. She was born on 26 Dec 1808, two years before he married Janet Gibson
of Melrose. She was baptised on 30 April 1811 in Melrose.Her father died one
year later.Janet Gibson remarried taking her own son to America with her.
