David Cunningham notes:
Louise gives father (William) being born in Blythe and christened in Haltwhistle but 1871 census states he was born in Bellingham, Northumberland. In the 1891 census his birthplace is given as Blythe but the age in both cases indicate he was born around 1827. Confusion may be caused because it appears that the IGI has mixed up information between several William Nixons born in Northumberland around 1825-1829
