Bryan Tinlin: She attended Miss Ghémar's Finishing School in Brussels, Belgium from 1863 [TF]. She married Frederick Button, Esq., of Durban, Natal on 23 Oct 1882 at St. James' Church, Dover, Kent [CR, Times 26 Oct 1882, pg. 1, TF says 22 Oct]. His family was from Framlingham, Suffolk, and emigrated to South Africa in 1854 [TF]. He had been previously married and widowed [TF]. She died of heart disease on 4 Dec 1887 in Durban, Natal [London Times, 8 Dec 1887, pg. 1].
