A Herbert Heskett of the right age was living with Aaron Cunningham in 1911 - he was single and working as a poultry and dairy man. They would have been related by marriage via Aaron's brother George. On the census form he was listed as having been born in Plaxtol rather than the neighbouring village of Shipbourne.

Enlisted 9/9/14 aged 20 into Royal West Kent Regt No: 200743 until 16/1/1919 Served in India 29/10/1914-4/3/1915 Rcd British War Medal 10/6/1922
