In the 1861 census George has two grandaughters staying with him, together with his unmarried daughter Jane. The youngest (Annabell Lough age 7) would appear to be Janes's daughter, but the parentage of Ann Lough (age 14) is uncertain. Familysearch.org lists an Ann Lough baptised in Morpeth on 25 June 1845, mother Ann Lough.
