!Taken from Edwin George's story; Arthur didn't like brick making work in Utah
so he went to San Francisco where he joined the Ringling Circus and went with
them to Australia for a couple of years. When he returned his brothers were
makingbricks in Sanpete county. They had their own brick yard west of
Fairview and later they moved to Birch Creek nearer to Mount Pleasant; age 27
at time of marriage;
Arthur married Martha Spens, daughter of Nathaniel Spens and Mary Jane Campbell, on 3 Jan 1900 in Mount Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah. (Martha Spens was born on 30 Aug 1881 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, died on 19 Apr 1902 in Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah and was buried on 22 Apr 1902 in Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah.)
